Becoming a mother is one of the most special moments in a woman’s life, and it’s a time that deserves to be captured and celebrated, Hello I am Ann an Orlando Maternity Photographer. That’s where maternity photo shoots come in – they provide a way for you to document this incredible journey and create lasting memories that you can treasure forever. In this blog post, we’ll explore some of the reasons why you should consider getting a maternity photo shoot.
TO CELEBRATE YOUR PREGNANCY Pregnancy is an incredible journey that should be celebrated, and a maternity photo shoot is the perfect way to do just that. It’s a time to showcase your growing bump and capture the beauty of your changing body. These photos can help you feel confident and proud of the changes you are going through, and serve as a reminder of the joy and excitement that comes with preparing for a new arrival. TO CREATE LASTING MEMORIES Having a baby is a life-changing experience, and it’s important to document this special time in your life. Maternity photos serve as a reminder of the anticipation and excitement you felt leading up to your baby’s arrival. You’ll be able to look back on these photos years from now and remember how you felt during this transformative time in your life. TO INVOLVE YOUR PARTNER AND FAMILY A maternity photo shoot isn’t just about you – it’s also a chance to involve your partner and family. Your partner can be a part of the shoot, and you can even include your other children if you have them. These photos will serve as a beautiful keepsake for your family and allow you to share the joy and excitement with your loved ones. TO EMBRACE YOUR FEMININITY Pregnancy is a time when your body goes through many changes, and it’s easy to feel self-conscious about these changes. However, a maternity photo shoot is a chance to embrace your femininity and showcase the beauty of growing a child in your body. My goal is to show you how stunning you are and to show you, you are a GODDESS! DOCUMENTING YOUR PREGNANCY JOURNEY Pregnancy is a journey that lasts for nine months, and a maternity photo shoot is a way to document that journey. As you look back at the photos, you will be able to see the changes that your body went through during each trimester. You will also be able to reflect on the emotions you felt at each stage of your pregnancy. IT’S A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. Pregnancy is a unique experience that you’ll only go through a handful of times in your life, if at all. It’s a time of great change and anticipation, and having professional photos to commemorate this special time is something you’ll cherish for years to come. When your child grows up, they’ll love to see photos of you when you were pregnant with them. IT’S A WAY TO CELEBRATE YOUR BODY. Pregnancy can be tough on your body, and it’s easy to feel self-conscious during this time. A maternity photo shoot is a chance to celebrate your body and the incredible things it’s capable of. You’ll be able to look back at these photos and remember how amazing it was to carry your child inside you. You’ll have beautiful, professional photos to display in your home and walk by each day remembering such a monumental time in your life. YOU’LL HAVE BEAUTIFUL, PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS. Let’s face it, while iPhones are amazing they still cant take professional-quality photos. Hiring me as your photographer for your maternity shoot means you’ll have gorgeous photos that you’ll be proud to display in your home or share with friends and family. IT’S A CHANCE TO EXPRESS YOUR CREATIVITY. Maternity photo shoots can be as simple or as creative as you want them to be. You can choose a location that’s meaningful to you, wear an outfit that makes you feel beautiful, or incorporate props that reflect your interests and personality. The possibilities are endless, and you’ll have fun coming up with ideas that are unique to you. In conclusion, a maternity photo shoot is a wonderful way to celebrate this special time in your life. I have never had a client say to me that they regret having their maternity photos taken… if anything its the opposite I have clients telling me how happy they are they they decided to capture such a special milestone in their lives and they will cherish their photos forever! I look forward to meeting you and creating amazing memories for you as your maternity photographer!

“Motherhood is wonderful, but it's also hard work. It's the logistics more than anything. You discover you have reserves of energy you didn't know you had.”
Chelsea was so much fun to work with, and we created some magic :) When Amanda reached out and wanted a pregnancy floating concept I knew we had to make it happen. Luckily my ceilings are opened and with steal trusses so we had no problems hanging chains and getting aerial fabric put up. The end product is just amazing and I love some new challenges! I think we created magic :)
The moment I got on a call with Katherine I knew this is going to be a fun maternity session. Her whole family is just so much fun and sometimes you just meet people that You just click with, this is a beginning of a beautiful friendship :) We did a total of 4 looks for her maternity session and she was game to try anything. I'm totally obsessed with this gallery.
Oh how I love when I can be creative with the maternity photoshoot. After a quick phone call I knew I had to do something special for these two. We've decided on the wardrobe and i got to work setting it up. We went with mostly green since it's an absolute favorite color of the the momma to be. I'm absolutely obsessed with how it all turned out. Bring me all maternity sessions!!!
Jackie and Steve came to me for a last minute maternity session and oh man we had fun! Also for everyone that doesn't believe that 9am photoshoots can look like a golden hour photoshoots here is Your proof :) We walked, we sat, we laughed so so much. They are keeping the name a secret so this whole session me and miniBuster tried to guess the name. We've failed. Thank You guys! I had a blast meeting you and can't wait to meet that little guy and laugh some more <3
Cody and Sarah are my longtime customers. We've met when Cody worked on my house we are building. We already did a surprise engagement, and birthday party, 2nd birthday photoshoot, wedding and now a maternity session. When Sarah contacted me for this photoshoot I knew I had to make something special for them. We've build two towers to put some boho grass and palm leaves, white box for posing on it and got to sewing to make the green dress. We went with green, cream and brown and I'm obsessed! I love when I can work with people that trust my vision and the more I get to know them the better our shoots get.
,Congratulations on the incoming baby in your life, and hello from me.
In the busy-ness of life, it’s not often that we set aside some time to appreciate what our bodies can do. Scheduling in a maternity session is the perfect way to celebrate the everyday miracles that happen during this gestation process. Even through the exhaustion, back pain, and the nausea, your body is making another human! If that’s not worth celebrating, then hell – I don’t know what is. A question that comes up a lot is, “when is the best time to book maternity photos?” This is an important one to get right – most people aren’t up for booking two maternity sessions in the same pregnancy. But the answer isn’t so clear cut. It’s different for everyone. So, how do you know? The day before the shoot, throw some things in a bag that will support you during our session. These things could be the following, or whatever else comes to mind. Extra clothes for if the weather changes Snacks and water Hairbrush, extra makeup For maternity shoots, nude and raw images can be incredibly stunning, enhancing your expectant curves and featuring your blooming belly. But depending on how you want to remember your pregnancy and who you expect to see the images, there are a couple of things to consider. If you want to keep your clothes on, I offer a lot of gorgeous outfits with You session - You can see them in a Client Closet tab. Once we pick a location together, we can discuss color palettes that will help you stand out beautifully against your environment. If you’re leaning towards your birthday suit, I’d advise you to moisturize your belly and stay tuned into your comfort levels. It can be incredibly special having your loved ones join you in front of the camera for your maternity shoot. There’s something so heartwarming about being able to look at the photographs and actually see the connection between yourself, your unborn little one, your partner and/or your other soon-to-be big siblings. Getting them on board can sometimes be a bit of a struggle – though it’s often easier to get the younger kids to come along than it is a hesitant partner. Letting kids be silly, and giving them the chance to see the session as a game is our best chance of capturing some joyful, authentic moments. If your partner is dragging their heels, try to let them know that it’s normal to be less-than-thrilled about being in front of the camera. The photographs that you’ll be able to look back on will make it all worth it. If you’ve gotten to the end of this guide and you’ve got a few questions swirling around in your head that I haven’t answered, please pick up the phone and give me a call. I want you to feel at ease and prepared going into this session. |
