Nicole is an amazing bodybuilder/ bikini competitor from Florida. She found me 2 years ago through Instagram and we started working together shortly after. I absolutely love working with people that give me the ability to be creative, and she is just so much fun. We always end up laughing so much during those shoots. She is a queen and those pictures turned out gorgeous <3

When Harper's mom contacted me for a cake smash and said she didn't want to do anything typical and pink I got super excited. We've discussed it, she said she would love a Merida Brave cake smash theme so I naturally suggested that instead of the cake we should use fried turkey and chicken drumsticks. Harper understood the assignment. She didn't even hesitate when i brought the turkey out lol. Harper, you are making me question everything we usually do during cake smash sessions, including using cakes. I love love love this cake smash photoshoot.
Mom Becca and Dad Bobby wanted a ST Patrick's theme cake smash with rainbows, almost like lucky charms. We came up with the cutest set ever! and Miss Ella, as it turns out, is a big fan of marshmellows ;) Seriously one of my favorite cake smash session sets this year :)
Ella Bean! We now know you don't like cake but you love balloons and baths I've discussed it with your mom and next year we will do a pickle theme Also, want to apologize for giving your parents some mug face shots, I just couldn't help myself haha. You are just the cutest And mom wrote: "The amazing Ann Buster Photography did it again! She captured some of the most precious and treasured memories of our family. She has an amazing eye, and catches the true essence of “us,” especially Ella. She and her daughter are an excellent team, and create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This was an all-around special moment, beginning to celebrate Ella’s first whole year, made even more sweet and wonderful by Ann." Cody and Sarah are my longtime customers. We've met when Cody worked on my house we are building. We already did a surprise engagement, and birthday party, 2nd birthday photoshoot, wedding and now a maternity session. When Sarah contacted me for this photoshoot I knew I had to make something special for them. We've build two towers to put some boho grass and palm leaves, white box for posing on it and got to sewing to make the green dress. We went with green, cream and brown and I'm obsessed! I love when I can work with people that trust my vision and the more I get to know them the better our shoots get.
,Congratulations on the incoming baby in your life, and hello from me.
In the busy-ness of life, it’s not often that we set aside some time to appreciate what our bodies can do. Scheduling in a maternity session is the perfect way to celebrate the everyday miracles that happen during this gestation process. Even through the exhaustion, back pain, and the nausea, your body is making another human! If that’s not worth celebrating, then hell – I don’t know what is. A question that comes up a lot is, “when is the best time to book maternity photos?” This is an important one to get right – most people aren’t up for booking two maternity sessions in the same pregnancy. But the answer isn’t so clear cut. It’s different for everyone. So, how do you know? The day before the shoot, throw some things in a bag that will support you during our session. These things could be the following, or whatever else comes to mind. Extra clothes for if the weather changes Snacks and water Hairbrush, extra makeup For maternity shoots, nude and raw images can be incredibly stunning, enhancing your expectant curves and featuring your blooming belly. But depending on how you want to remember your pregnancy and who you expect to see the images, there are a couple of things to consider. If you want to keep your clothes on, I offer a lot of gorgeous outfits with You session - You can see them in a Client Closet tab. Once we pick a location together, we can discuss color palettes that will help you stand out beautifully against your environment. If you’re leaning towards your birthday suit, I’d advise you to moisturize your belly and stay tuned into your comfort levels. It can be incredibly special having your loved ones join you in front of the camera for your maternity shoot. There’s something so heartwarming about being able to look at the photographs and actually see the connection between yourself, your unborn little one, your partner and/or your other soon-to-be big siblings. Getting them on board can sometimes be a bit of a struggle – though it’s often easier to get the younger kids to come along than it is a hesitant partner. Letting kids be silly, and giving them the chance to see the session as a game is our best chance of capturing some joyful, authentic moments. If your partner is dragging their heels, try to let them know that it’s normal to be less-than-thrilled about being in front of the camera. The photographs that you’ll be able to look back on will make it all worth it. If you’ve gotten to the end of this guide and you’ve got a few questions swirling around in your head that I haven’t answered, please pick up the phone and give me a call. I want you to feel at ease and prepared going into this session. Ive photographer Sarah's family on three different occasions : Maternity, newborn and cake smash. Now it was the time for her youngest to come for a cake smash session to me. Sarah wanted to do something purple and ice cream themed. It's safe to say we had couple hours of arts and crafts with my assistant (my 13y old). And yes glitter is still everywhere. I seriously fell in love with custom cake smash sessions. That smile on mom's face when she sees the set for the first time is something i just love.
There is nothing more exciting than getting recognized by my peers. Today i got an email confirming that I have won an award for the best newborn photographer, and honestly? I'm super excited :) I work hard at always getting better and getting recognized means the world to me. I love what I do.
How to get ready for your newborn photoshootWhether you’ve just brought new life into the world and are reading this through the bleary eyes of sleep-deprivation, or you’re excitedly anticipating the arrival of a new tiny family member, I just wanted to say congratulations!
I am beyond honored to be able to capture this incredible time in your lives. Carving out the time to document and recognize this transition is one of the best things you can do. And, as your photographer, I am here to support you in any way I can. This guide is my way of saying, “I’ve got you.” I’ve crafted it to answer your questions, calm your fears, and address your uncertainty. I can’t wait to meet your little one. Week one and two of your baby’s life is magic. Of course all of the weeks are magic, but during these first two weeks, newborns are squishy, flexible, sleep more, and are still adjusting to the world outside of the womb. Often, their skin is still clear, and their bodies are shaped as if they’re still in utero – making it easier to get them into position. In order for us to get organised for a shoot this soon after their birthday, I’ll need your due date. In a lot of cases, babies will arrive whenever they want to and I couldn’t possibly expect them to abide by our schedule. But, once your baby is born, give me a call as soon as you can and we can lock in a time and date. If you, understandably, have been spinning too many plates on the roller coaster ride of pre- and post- birth to lock in a date before the second week of your baby’s life, don’t worry. We can still make it work. Older babies might be a little more resistant to the swaddle, or naps, or being held by someone they don’t know, but the success of older newborn shoots are completely dependent on the personality of your little individual. However, If your baby is ten weeks or older, I might tell you to come back to me at four months. Ten weeks - four months is a pretty complicated time for a baby's development, as they’re still not able to hold their head or sit up by themself, making it hard to get professional photographs of them in that time frame. Expect to snuggle! And, be prepared to be in some of the shots. Now, I know that in your postpartum haze you’re probably not feeling like a supermodel, but sometimes I’ll ask you to pick your baby up to soothe them, and this is the perfect opportunity to get one or two shots of you together. I understand that your newborn is not potty trained. If we’re shooting in the nude, and your baby poops themselves, please don’t stress. Here’s the protocol: we’ll get them quickly cleaned up, throw them in a new wrap, and just continue on capturing beautiful moments. Your baby is still trying to figure out where they are and what they’re doing in this big bright world. Sometimes, they’ll get a little upset and need a bit of extra loving. We may have to stop for a little feed, to change a diaper, or to give them a little pep talk before continuing on. But this is all a part of it. I recommend dressing your baby in a front-fastening, cosy sleep-suit just before the shoot so that when we’re ready to start, it’ll be easy to get them out of it without waking them up. If you, like me, are a sucker for those little belly rolls, chipmunk cheeks, and tiny toes, it might be fun to get a few shots of baby in the nude. Be mindful of bundling your little one up too tightly before the shoot as tight clothes can leave Photoshop-resistant marks on the skin. Mila wasn't a fan of the cake, somehow she is not into sweets. So next year we will make a chicken nugget set up ;) The favorite part was the bath, she actually didn't want to leave it, and I can't blame her to be honest. I loved building this set - Rosegold Winter onederland <3
If you are looking to plan an Orlando FL / Oviedo FL / Lake Mary FL / Sanford FL cake smash photography session for your little one, contact me today for more information :) I've met Joselande over 4 years ago and it's always so much fun to shoot together. It's also amazing to see how fast those boys are growing. We've met past Sunday in downtown Sanford FL and walked around. Iv'e learned a lot of things from those 2 boys, one of them is 11. I said " you are practically a teenager" he answered " not yet, I don't have a girlfriend yet" LOL We had a blast, ended up with some gorgeous shots and ended with a visit to a local Wondermade store - heaven when You are into smores. I just love when I get to work with a fun family.
